I have used this Stevia product. The taste is good but people who are pre-diabetic or want to control their blood sugar must check the nutrition label carefully.
This product contains 68.70% Carbohydrates, whereas pure Stevia should only have 0-5%. This means fillers like maltodextrin or dextrose have been added, which have a high glycemic index.
Pure 100% Stevia Extract:
Calories = 0
Carbs = 0-5%
Sugar = 0%
Glycemic Index = 0
This Product:
Calories = 364 per 100g
Carbs = 68.70%
The product has a valid PFA license and is safe to use, but it is NOT pure Stevia — it is a Stevia blend. Using it in small amounts is fine, but for diabetic or pre-diabetic people, a pure Stevia extract is a much better option.
